Cristiano Ronaldo Trolled: Al-Feiha vs Al-Nassr: Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo had a frustrating outing on Monday after his side Al-Nassr was held to a goalless draw by 11th-ranked Al-Feiha. Ronaldo, who scored a brace in Al-Nassr’s last outing, failed to find the target against Al-Feiha as the side suffered a major blow in its quest for the league title. While many fans trolled the 38-year-old for an ordinary performance, rival Saudi club Al-Feiha also joined to mock the Al-Nassr captain. Follow Saudi Pro League on InsideSport.IN.

After the game, Al-Feiha posted an edited image of their captain sitting in front of Ronaldo at a chess table with the caption “checkmate”. The tweet, which has gone viral, drew comical reactions across Twitter. Notably, another incident that caught the eye after the game was Ronaldo’s angry reaction toward one of Al-Feiha’s team members after the conclusion of the game. Ronaldo left the pitch angrily.

Al Nassr coach Rudi Garcia expressed his dissatisfaction with the team’s performance, stating that he had asked them to play at the same level as in the previous game, but this did not happen.

“The result is definitely bad, and we are not happy,” Al Nassr coach Rudi Garcia told the Saudi Sports Company (SSC) through an interpreter. “I don’t feel satisfied with the players’ performance. I asked them to play at the same level as the last game [in the 5-0 victory against Al-Adalah], but this didn’t happen”, said Al-Nassr manager.

Leaders Al-Ittihad have now widened the gap with Al Nassr to three points with seven games remaining, with a 2-1 victory against Al-Wehda. Al-Ittihad also had an advantage in a head-to-head result with Al Nassr. Al Nassr last won the Saudi Professional League in 2019 and will play a crucial game next week against Al-Hilal, the defending champion.
