FIH Pro League: The second leg of the fourth edition of the FIH Pro League will get underway in Odisha on 10th March 2023. Hosts India will take on World Champions Germany and a strong Australian side in this leg of the league. All the three teams will meet each other twice in thsi leg. Schedule
As per the format of the FIH Hockey Pro League 2022/23, Rourkela will host all six matches, where the three teams will play each other twice. Germany will clash with India in the first match on March 10. Their second match will be against Australia on March 11. India and Australia will go head-to-head on March 12, while on March 13, Germany and India will lock horns for the second time.

How have the three teams performed so far ?
India
In the first leg of the Pro League, India hosted New Zealand and Spain. India won both their matches against New Zealand. While they lost 2-3 against Spain and managed to draw the other contest 2-2 against the Spaniards. India are at the fourth place currently on the points table.
Australia
Australia meanwhile managed to win just a solitary game against Argentina in the first leg. The Kookaburras lost both their matches against Spain and lost in penalties against Argentina in their other contest. Australia are currently at the penultimate spot in the points table.
Germany
Germany managed to win two matches. They clinched a 3-2 win against Belgium, while they defeated Argentina 3-0. In the reverse fixture, they lost against Belgium, while managed a draw against Argentina. The World Champions are currently at the fifth spot on the points table with eight points from four games.

From the Jharsuguda airport, the team travelled to Rourkela, which will host all six matches at the newly-built crown jewel of hockey – Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium. Germany, who have won the Men’s Hockey World Cup thrice in 2002, 2006, and 2023, will be looking to continue their rich vein of form. They are currently fifth in the FIH Hockey Pro League 2022/23 rankings.

How to buy Tickets for FIH Pro League 2023 matches?
Tickets can be bought at the Box Office of the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium between 11am to 7pm from 6th March onwards. On 8th March, Box Office will be open only between 4pm to 7pm.
According to a relase, Tickets could be purchased / redeemed at Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium Gate No 2 for North and East Stands & Gate No 6 for South and West Stands respectively.
