Cristiano Ronaldo and his international teammates arrive at Hamad International Airport dressed to the nines.
Due to a stomach virus, Ronaldo, 37, was unable to play Portugal Tuesday night’s 4-0 friendly triumph over Nigeria.
When CR7 arrived in Qatar, the forward appeared focused and showed no signs of having any side effects.
It coincides with reports that United is getting ready to sue the Portugal star for his shocking interview with Piers Morgan earlier this week.
Portugal’s opening group game at the World Cup is slated against Ghana on Nov. 24. South Korea and Uruguay are also in the group.
Ronaldo’s build-up to the World Cup has been fraught following the release of a TV interview. The football great revealed that he felt “betrayed” by Manchester United and does not respect manager Erik ten Hag. After this explosive interview, Manchester United is considering legal action to terminate CR7’s contract.

Manchester United is now apparently done with Ronaldo. The Red Devils are considering the option of terminating the contract of the superstar along with fining him. The club is also considering the option to sue the player for breaching the contract and is looking for legal options.
The club will contact the player to not return to Carrington after the conclusion of the Qatar World Cup. Ronaldo made a sensational return to Manchester United from Juventus in August 2021 for a period of two years, with the option to extend for a year.
That looks highly unlikely at the moment given the standoff between the club and Ronaldo.
