Paul Pogba injury update, FIFA World Cup Qualifiers France: Bad news for France, Man Utd; Paul Pogba limps out of training in the national camp, Watch Video: A sad news coming from the french camp as Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba was seen limping off the ground during a training session. The national training camp was held at the renowned Clairefontaine training complex. The 28-year-old picked up the injury during a shooting drill.

The entire France national team was given a day off from training apart from Pogba and Bayern Munich right-back Benjamin Pavard. The incident happened when Pogba played a pass to his coach and then he played it back to him on the edge of the are, the United midfielder’s shot was way off target. But as he connected with the ball he felt the pain and limped off the ground.

At first, he slowly hobbled and tried shaking it off but then as it became intense he had to limp out of the training ground, France national team head coach Didier Deschamps came forward to check the 28-year-old;s whereabouts.

But soon a medical staff helped him out on the road, from where he was probably taken back to the treatment area. The video footage clearly shows the discomfort in his face and that is not good news for both Les Blues and also for Manchester United.

He was pictured finishing the drills early and accompanied away from the pitches

The French midfielder was excited to return to the national camp as he uploaded pictures on social media of joining the French camp. Now it will be a very nervous wait for Deschamp and also for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as this could have huge implications, especially for the United boss. Both the managers will hope that it is nothing too serious and he can be back at the field in no time.

Pogba’s current contract runs out at the end of this season and the former Juventus midfielder will be able to talk with other clubs from the January transfer window. It will be interesting to see if United shows any interest in renewing his current deal.

For now, France is all set to play two matches in the current World Cup qualifiers against Kazakhstan at home followed by an away trip to Finland.
