FIFA World Cup Qatar: The second ‘floating hotel’ MSC Poesia docked at the Doha port on Monday morning to accommodate the travelling fans for the FIFA World Cup Qatar. The global showpiece event is expected to attract a footfall of 1.2 million fans from across the world. And amid the scarcity of hotels in Qatar, the hosts have called in for three MSC Cruises which will act as a resort to accommodate the football-crazy fans. MSC World Europa, MSC Poesia and MSC Opera are the three cruise liners that will be at service for the fans during the global showpiece event. The ships will have modern technologies and green practices which includes versatile recreational options.

FIFA World Cup Qatar: Amid scarcity of hotels, Qatar calls in cruise MSC Poesia as FLOATING HOTEL for World Cup fans – Check Prices, Facilities, Capacity
Floating hotels will be among the several facilities provided by the State of Qatar for FIFA WC 2022. Apartments, villas, fan villages and usual hotels are among the other facilities which will accommodate fans.
The chairman of Qatar Tourism and Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive HE Akbar Al Baker said in a statement that offering accommodation and recreational services on board floating hotels reflects the strenuous efforts exerted to organize the best World Cup in history.

- It offers variety of room options ranging from traditional cabins overlooking the sea to rooms with balconies and luxury suites.
