FIFA World Cup Groups: The teams who have qualified for Qatar 2022

The favourites to win this year’s FIFA World Cup are in the following order – Argentina, France, Brazil, Portugal, England, Spain, Germany, and Belgium.

The teams who might have an outright chance are Uruguay, Poland, Canada, Denmark, Croatia, Switzerland, Senegal, the Netherlands, and Wales. Meanwhile, the remaining teams will find it hard to make it to the final stages of the tournament.

FIFA World Cup Groups: The groups for the 2022 World Cup

Group A is fairly easy in terms of competition as only Netherlands and Senegal have a clear chance of making it to the next round. It also consists of the home nation Qatar and Ecuador.

Group B has strong teams in it in the form of England and the United States. But, Wales and Iran can spoil the party and are the underdogs of the tournaments.

Group C consists of Argentina, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and Poland. On top of it, Argentina, Poland, and Mexico have a great chance of making it to the next round.

Group D is fairly easy as it consists of France, Australia, Denmark, and Tunisia. Only Denmark and France have an outright chance to make it to the next round.

Group E is fairly strong as it has two powerhouses of the sport in it in the form of Spain and Germany. It also consists of Costa Rica and Japan as the latter team could give a run for the money to other teams.

Group F consists of Belgium, Croatia, Canada, and Morocco. Meanwhile, Belgium and Croatia have a good team overall, and Canada can pose threat as well.

Group G consists of Brazil, Serbia, Cameroon, and Switzerland. Brazil is the main contender to make it to the next round as Serbia and Switzerland also have a great chance.

Group H is relatively strong as it consists of Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay, and South Korea. All four teams are strong and can wreak havoc on their day.

The first match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup will kick off on November 21 and the final is set to take place on December 18.
