The striker made his comeback to the national team in style by winning the UEFA Nations League last year. The player has been wildly successful with his club too, winning the La Liga and the UEFA Champions League this season with 44 goals in his tally. However, the forward is hungry for more. He said, “there are things left to be done. I hope to be in the squad for Qatar, to go to the World Cup and do everything to win it.”
Didier Deschamps is yet to announce the squad but with the track record of the Frenchman this year, it is just a matter of time before his name pops into the Qatar bound French squad.
