Despite a comfortable 2-0 win Uruguay has been KNOCKED OUT of the FIFA World Cup. Giorgian De Arrascaeta gave Uruguay a stunning start after scoring a brace in quick succession. In the other game, South Korea pulled off a stunning comeback to seal their spot in the Next stage. Therefore, Both Ghana and Uruguay has been eliminated from the group stage.

South Korea 2-1 Portugal
A stoppage minute goal from super substitute Hwang Hee Chan saw South Korea claim a 2-1 victory over Portugal. Ealier Young-gwonm restored the parity for Korea after Ricardo Horta gave Portugal a lead 5 minutes into the game. Despite claiming a 2-0 victory over Ghana, both Uruguay and Ghana were rendered out of the tournament.

Switzerland are through to Last-16 after winning a five-goal thriller. They edged past Serbia 3-2 in their final World Cup Group G encounter on Friday. Xherdan Shaqiri (20′) put them in the lead. But Serbia responded almost instantly through Alexsandar Mitrovic (26′). Soon, they doubled the lead in 35th minute. But the Swiss bounced back to shut out Serbia with two more goals. The Swiss finished second in the group with six points, level with group winners Brazil. They will meet Portugal in the quarterfinals.
