The AIFF President, Mr. Kalyan Chaubey, opened the proceedings by expressing gratitude to the FIFA delegation for travelling to India to share their experience.The Technical Department has been divided into several verticals, including Youth Development, Coach Education, Sports Science and Medical, and Player and Talent Development.

This is a step in the right direction towards the AIFF’s goal of making India competitive on a global level. For a three-day meeting with the AIFF to discuss how to implement the FIFA TDS in the country, FIFA representatives are currently in India. The global governing body for football is FIFA.
TDS ensures that every young player has the chance to be identified and developed. Under the direction of Arsene Wenger, FIFA’s Chief of Global Football Development, aims to help the Member Associations realise their full potential. The FIFA Delegates and AIFF Representatives are going to hash out the specifics now that the TDS will be imposed in India. Wenger would later travel to the continent to assess its development.
