Fabio Blanco to Barcelona: Who is Fabio Blanco?
Fabio Blanco is a 17 year-old winger who currently plays for Eintracht Frankfurt in Bundesliga. He was born on 16th February 2004. He has played for the Spain National team junior side. He is 170 cm tall. Blanco left Valencia in the summer, joining Eintracht Frankfurt. Though, he is already returning to Spain to join Barcelona, who have paid a small fee to lure him to Camp Nou.
Blanco made the move to Germany from Valencia on a free transfer ahead of this season. He has featured eight times for Frankfurt’s youth side, racking up two goals and an assist. Football Transfer Guru and Sports Journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the “deal is confirmed” and has indicated that he will sign until 2024.
The Blaugrana may already have one of the finest youngsters in Europe with the rise of Nico Gonzalez, Gavi Ansu Fati and Pedri but they are still preparing for the future. Barcelona have added to their Ferran Torres transfer with another new signing.

Blanco will join up with Barcelona B initially, but as the likes of Ez Abde have shown, under Xavi Hernandez, the first team is always achievable for talented youngsters. The young winger is already a Spain under 19 international, and it’s hoped he can reach his full potential at Camp Nou, working under B team boss Sergi Barjuan.
However, the transfer has not panned out as envisioned for the 17-year-old, who has been confined to the under-19 side, making eight appearances for the Bundesliga club’s age-group team. As a result, Blanco has been left frustrated, and he is seeking a January exit from Eintracht Frankfurt.
