However, recently, another YouTuber, ItsOwen, got his account terminated by YouTube after he posted a clickbait video, attempting to use Technoblade’s death as content for views. ItsOwen had over 3.5 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, and his clickbait video featuring MrBeast and Technoblade was among the top trending videos before his account got terminated.
ItsOwen gets YouTube account terminated after posting clickbait video featuring MrBeast and Technoblade
Hours after posting a video titled “MrBeast Final Goodbye to Technoblade,” 19 year-old YouTuber ItsOwen took to Twitter to announce that he got his account terminated from the platform. He went on to state that he had no idea why his account got banned, since he had not received any warnings about his content either.
“My YouTube channel with 3.5 million subs just got terminated, please help me get it back i’m so depressed right now i dont know what to do.”

In a now deleted tweet, the YouTuber had even asked for assistance from the red platform itself. He got assurance from Team YouTube that it would look into the matter and see if there was something that could be done to revoke the termination. However, shortly after, Team YouTube responded saying that his account had been rightfully banned, and he would not be able to access his existing YouTube account or create any new ones.

ItsOwen had been notorious for posting clickbait content on his YouTube channel, and it seems like trying to monetize Technoblade’s death struck a wrong chord with the entire YouTube community. Naturally, when his account got terminated fans took to social media to celebrate the same.

Several fans were disgusted by the idea that ItsOwen tried to capitalize off of the death of a popular YouTuber, and stated that they wish his account ban is permanent. While YouTube has made no official announcement regarding the nature of the ban, fans can be sure they will not see ItsOwen on YouTube again anytime soon.
