Release date

Developer Epic Games released Fortnite for the public on July 21, 2017. Ever since, the title has been going strong and has emerged as one of the most popular gaming titles in recent years. The game is available across several platforms including PC, consoles, and Nintendo Switch. The game was also available on mobile devices through Google Play Store and App Store. But service was discontinued due to a legal entanglement with Epic Games. Players can access Fortnite on their mobiles through the Epic Games store via an external download.

Game Modes

Fortnite offers three different game modes to the gaming community, out of which Battle Royale is the most popular one. The other two modes are the Creative mode and the Save the World mode.

In Creative Mode, gamers can hop on various creative maps created by artists across the globe. This is free to play with and is included with the Fortnite pack.

The Save the World mode is basically a sandbox edition. Gamers need to buy this segment separately to access it in Fortnite.
