Since the trend of Twitch streamers shifting to YouTube has taken off once again, fans are anticipating the streamers they can see announcing a shift soon.

Twitch vs YouTube Streaming: Streamers who could potentially switch platforms

1) Pokimane

Pokiamne is popular as the reigning queen of Twitch. She is one of the most popular streamers on the platform and has seem immense success on the same. However, she might be one of the next streamers to make the move to YouTube. Most fans speculate this move, and have often been commenting about the same whenever a different creator announces their move.

One of the primary reasons for this could be that she already has two very successful channels on YouTube where she posts a bunch of different content. Therefore, she will not have to begin from scratch completely. Furthermore, as revealed in the infamous Twitch data leak last year, Twitch subs do not make up for a significant part of the RTS owner’s monthly earning. Therefore, it is highly likely that she could get a better deal from YouTube streaming.

2) xQc

xQc is one of the highest earning streamers on Twitch, therefore it can easily be assumed that he will not leave the platform anytime soon. However, this would have stood true back when he would only stream games by himself. Felix Lengyel has recently started collaborating with a lot of other streamers for different projects, such as Ludwig, Pokimane, Sykkuno, and many others.

With the shift of many other streamers to YouTube, a similar decision might be lucrative for the former Overwatch pro. xQc is also famous for his spontaneous decisions, so it would not be surprising if he suddenly announced a shift in platform someday.

3) Kkatamina

Miyoung, aka Kkatamina, has emerged into one of the biggest creators in the streaming community. Her famous subathon last year shot her to fame, and after the subathon ended, she began streaming regularly with the likes of Valkyrae, Disguised Toast, Sykkuno, and others. Now, it is worth noting that most of the streamers she streams with are currently signed with YouTube.

Naturally, if Miyoung announces a shift in platforms, that should not come as a big surprise to her fans.

Fans have seen similar instances in the past as well, with the shift of TimTheTatman. Tim is famous for his entertaining Call of Duty streams with Dr DisRespect. However, due to the Doc’s infamous Twitch ban, the duo could not stream together in the past. This issue was resolved when Tim shifted to YouTube, and now the duo regularly stream together along with the likes of DrLupo and NICKMERCS.

While fans assume that the aforementioned streamers might switch from Twitch to YouTube, there has been no official announcement for any of the streamers so far. Therefore, fans should simply treat the assumptions as mere speculation.
