The Esports Club commonly known as TEC x League of Legends announce complete Roadmap for India & South Asia.

The Esports Club, in association with League of Legends (LoL), is pleased to reveal a complete roadmap for the game in India and South Asia. This comprehensive plan is designed to energize and engage the regional gaming community, aiming to bring the experience closer to its passionate fans.

Featuring a dynamic blend of community tournaments, influencer-driven competitions, and exclusive invitational events, the roadmap will strengthen the game’s presence, offering a platform for both amateur and professional players to compete in high-stakes environments while fostering community engagement.

TEC x League of Legends Roadmap

In support of this initiative, Crucial by Micron, a renowned name in memory and storage solutions, joins as the Presented by Sponsor, while Zotac Gaming, a leading manufacturer of high-performance graphics cards and gaming hardware, comes on board as the Powered by Sponsor, ensuring that each event delivers an exceptional experience for participants and viewers alike.

League of Legends India & South Asia 2024 Roadmap:

  • TEC Community Cup – July Open (Completed)
  • TEC Community Cup – August Open (Completed)
  • TEC Streamer Clash Invitational (September – Completed)
  • Influencer Driven Community Clash (September to December – In Progress)
  • TEC Community Clash – December (Upcoming)

Additionally, the TEC Rift Rulers Leaderboard will track the performance of South Asia’s top teams. The top 4 teams from the leaderboard at the end of the Influencer Community Clash will earn direct invitations to the main event of the TEC Community Clash in December.

The July and August Opens of the TEC Community Cup have attracted strong participation from grassroots gamers, offering them valuable opportunities to compete. The TEC Streamer Clash Invitational in September delivered high-level gameplay, while the ongoing Influencer Driven Community Clash features notable figures like ShreeMan LegenD, MidFailYT, iFlicks, SKplz, and SID, creating substantial engagement.

So far, these efforts have involved over 500 teams and garnered more than 500K views, laying a solid foundation for continued momentum leading up to the TEC Community Clash in December.

As India’s gaming market continues its rapid growth, with Niko Partners forecasting it to generate $1.4 billion in revenue by 2028 and home to 730.7 million gamers, this roadmap is strategically positioned to capitalize on the immense opportunity. The initiative not only aims to engage the current player base but also to drive further expansion in the region, reinforcing the game’s presence and community.
