Soulja Boy is looking to sue Twitch after he got banned without any explanation from their side. DeAndre Cortez Way, known as Soulja Boy in the music and streaming industry, has been banned from the Twitch TV platform. According to him, there was “no explanation” provided to him before the bans, and he now plans to sue Twitch over this matter. Here is everything about the incident.
Soulja Boy has risen up as an entertaining streamer on the Twitch platform. He has been known for playing games as well as engaging in conversations with his chat audience during his streams. Yet, his account got banned twice by Twitch on 10th December. At first, the ban was there for only 5 minutes and then he got unbanned by Twitch. But after 4 hours from this incident, his Twitch account was suspended again and this time, the second ban has continued till now.

Soulja Boy expresses his frustrations on the matter on Twitter
Soulja Boy went on to Twitter to convey his thoughts on this matter. He accused Twitch of racism and has threatened to sue them over this matter. From his tweets, we get to know that he was not given any “proof or explanation” for his Twitch ban. He also tells that it “doesn’t feel right” and he wants Twitch to give his account back to him. If this does not happen, Soulja Boy has tweeted that he will go to court with the best lawyer and sue Twitch for being racist.

This is not the first time that streamers have been banned for unclear reasons on the Twitch platform. In the summer of 2020, Dr Disrespect also got indefinitely banned on the Twitch streaming platform for unclear reasons. At that time, he was one of the most popular gaming streamers there. He has now moved onto YouTube and has continued his streaming career on the new platform.
