Day 2 of the Skyesports Championship 2024 saw a return to form with nine BO1 matches after a rocky start on the opening day. After the conclusion of day 2, The Mongolz and Eternal Fire took a lead on their respected groups. Here’s a look at the standings in both groups following the second day of intense competition.

Skyesports Championship 2024 Group A – The MongolZ Lead, True Rippers Struggle

The day began with Aurora facing PARIVISION. The Skyesports Grand Slam 2024 and Skyesports Masters 2024 champions, Aurora, secured a significant win. ENCE dominated BLEED, marking a tough debut for nexa with his new team. In a surprising turn, PARIVISION stunned The MongolZ. True Rippers almost upset BLEED but fell short in the end. The final match saw The MongolZ decisively defeat ENCE.

Standings for Group A:

  • The MongolZ: 2W – 1L
  • Aurora: 1W (from one game)
  • ENCE, PARIVISION, and BLEED: 1W – 1L
  • True Rippers: 0W – 2L

Group A remains highly competitive with all teams except True Rippers in close contention.

Group B – Eternal Fire Dominates, Revenant Falters

Group B resumed with the previously interrupted match between Revenant and Eternal Fire. Eternal Fire made quick work of Revenant. 3DMAX triumphed over AMKAL in the first overtime of the tournament. Eternal Fire continued their dominance by defeating DMS. The day concluded with AMKAL handing Revenant their second loss.

Standings for Group B:

  • Eternal Fire: 2W – 0L
  • 3DMAX: 1W (from one game)
  • AMKAL: 1W – 1L
  • DMS – 0W- 1L
  • Revenant: 0W – 2L

Due to BetBoom’s withdrawal, Group B consists of only five teams. The top three teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs, commencing on July 28, 2024, at Taj Lands End.
