Regnum Carya Esports Secures 100,000 USD with PMGO 2025 Victory

PUBG Mobile Global Open 2025 Main Event concluded yesterday. Regnum Carya Esports Wins 100,000 USD at PMGO 2025.

At the 2025 PUBG MOBILE Global Open (PMGO) Regnum Carya Esports made history by securing their first international Champion title in PUBG MOBILE Esports. The Turkish team sought to make things right after the heartbreaking events of the 2024 PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC) which saw them lose out on the title by just one point. Things ended differently this time, as the young lineup of players demonstrated grit and determination before standing victorious at the Zo’r TV venue in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. They will now take home the pride of being the 2025 PMGO Champions, alongside the lion’s share of the $500,000 prize pool.

PMGO 2025 Champions: Regnum Carya Esports Bags 100,000 USD

Regnum Carya Esports propelled themselves to victory, fighting tooth and nail, earning an impressive 106 points. With this, Regnum Carya Esports have carved their name as the winners of the first global tournament in the 2025 PUBG MOBILE Esports circuit, returning home with all the glory and the right to an extra qualifying spot for their region at the 2025 PUBG MOBILE World Cup (PMWC), as part of the Esports World Cup in Riyadh. For seasoned player Sylas, this marks their second global championship title, having also secured the 2022 PMGC title with their previous team — an impressive feat for any professional player.

Day one of the Grand Finals saw amateur team R8 Esports mow down the competition, with a hard-fought Chicken Dinner, earned through 12 fierce eliminations. Keen to take back control, Nigma Galaxy contested this lead in Match 2, taking the win after a striking performance from star player Raouf, who claimed six of their ten eliminations. But this was no professional-led contest, as newcomers like GOAT Quality shocked viewers with two podium finishes in Matches 2 and 3, which helped them rocket to the third spot on the table by the end of the first day. In front of them stood Regnum Carya Esports, ending the day with a comfortable 11-point lead and two Chicken Dinners.

Main Event Day 2 Overview

Heading into the final day, Regnum Carya Esports had a rocky start, falling down the table in their first game, and unable to secure another win throughout the day, despite some solid performances earning them a modest amount of elimination points. Meanwhile, the amateurs rose to the occasion, with GOAT Quality on track to overtake the leaders, closely followed by Uzbekistan team THE721 AGGRESSOR. As the day continued, Regnum Carya Esports entered SMASH tournament rules, passing the 80-point threshold in Match 10, but GOAT Quality were on their tail, also passing the threshold in Match 11.

The final game saw Regnum Carya Esports wiped out early by 4Merical Vibes in a final push for points, leaving GOAT Quality in the running for the title. The European amateurs maintained composure long into the match, before facing off with amateur Nepali team NEPX Esports, in a tense battle of back and forth eliminations, before NEPX REXX put an end to GOAT Quality’s chances with the final killing blow.

THE721 AGGRESSOR went on to win the final match, with a bittersweet victory, as Regnum Carya Esports were finally awarded their crown. 4Merical Vibes also concluded the tournament with a respectable commendation, as star player DOK was awarded MVP at the Grand Finals, with an incredible 19 eliminations, 17 knocks, and nine assists.

James Yang, Senior Director of Global Esports at Level Infinite, said: “What an amazing way to start the 2025 PUBG MOBILE Esports circuit – I’d like to thank all the players who signed up for the Open Qualifiers and took their first step on their path to becoming a pro. Ahead of us is an exciting year for PUBG MOBILE Esports, and I can’t wait to experience all the highs and lows alongside the players and fans that make this wonderful community.”

The 2025 PMGO has been an important moment for growing competitive esports globally, creating new opportunities for grassroots esports teams and being the first international PUBG MOBILE Esports event held at Tashkent, Uzbekistan — a milestone for esports in Central Asia. Of the more than 90,000 amateur players registered to compete, only eight teams would make it to the Grand Finals, where they would test their mettle against seasoned pros, delivering showstopping performances for fans from around the globe. The 2025 PMGO has highlighted the potential of several notable amateur teams as they fought their way into the Prelims, many of whom may shape the future of PUBG MOBILE Esports as they continue to hone their skills.
