PUBG Mobile India Comeback News : The rumors about PUBG Mobile making a comeback in India should put to the rest now. Sources in the Ministry of Electronics and Information technology (MEITY) has told InsideSport that the Corporation or any new entity in India has not been granted any permission to re-start operations in India.

PUBG Mobile was banned in India along with the other Chinese Apps in September and according to the ministry source, ‘there is no change in that stance at this stage’, said the source.

InsideSport further tried probing the Ministry Source on the latest development of the game floating new entity in India and will it be enough for them to re-start the operations in India ? Reluctantly, the Ministry official told InsideSport that will not be enough to resume operations.

“Any banned entity can’t operate just by floating new company. This even Tik Tok or anyone else can do. They will have to get permissions from MEITY to operate once again in India”,

This clearly means, though the new company has been floated and approved by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, the permissions by the ministry that banned Chinese Apps will still be required for the game to operate in India.

It is worth noting, that PUBG Mobile has registered as a company with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs on 21st November. The new registered entity, complies with the government norms as one of the appointed Director is India by the name of Kumar Krishnan Iyer. The other director in the company is Sean (Hyunil) Sohn.

The company has a Corporate Identity Number of U72900KA2020FTC141285 which suggests that PUBG Mobile India is serious to not only make a comeback in the country but is also ready to comply with the norms.

“We don’t have any news to share at this time regarding PUBG Mobile India. Keep an eye on the official website for more information!” This is what they had to say.

Ever since the coming soon posts by PUBG, Azure is being spammed on twitter, questioned by eager fans when the game will arrive.

As per updates, the Indian version of the PUBG Mobile India will be initially available only for users on the Android platform. The game might likely release a few days later for their iOS counterparts as well.

Step 1 : Thumbs up from Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology

PUBG Mobile India requires a green light from MEITY. The ministry which had banned PUBG along with others are yet to react on the PUBG’s new registered entity. This permission is very important as we all know it was Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology that put the ban on the game so they are the ones to revoke it.

“Any banned entity can’t operate just by floating new company. This even Tik Tok or anyone else can do. They will have to get permissions from MEITY to operate once again in India”, said one of the ministry source to InsideSPORT.

When this ministry gives PUBG permission then the game will take no time to return. The Battle Royale was banned by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology on the 2nd of September 2020, and it came as a backdrop to the ensuing tension that was taking place between India and China near the Himalayan border. This same ministry will have to remove PUBG from banned list to operate in the country.

Step 2 : PUBG Comeback can only happen if all other Government compliances are completed

PUBG Mobile India needs all the basic government compliances for functioning in India. They needs a GST number. Every business holder gets Goods and Services Tax Identification Number (GSTIN) or a GST Number. Every registered person receives a unique identification number. No organization and business can carry on business without registering under GST guidelines.

Another key thing is the PAN number, Pan can be obtained by Income Tax India e-filing website or using the GSTIN (Goods and Service Tax registration number) of the company.

Other than this they have to comply with the Foreign Direct Investment guidelines of the Indian government for the gaming industry.

Step 3 : PUBG will have to make sure that user data is not compromised

PUBG reportedly has made Microsoft AZURE as its partner to host the data as well the  game. Microsoft Azure,’ that manages the computing and storage of resources on Microsoft’s data centers. This is what primarily keeps the data, such as servers and user information, secure.

Companies Protect data, apps and infrastructure quickly with built-in security services in Azure that include unparalleled security intelligence to help identify rapidly evolving threats early—so you can respond quickly. Implement a layered, defense in-depth strategy across identity, data, hosts and networks.

And it is this security that is integral to game’s return to India. PUBG – Microsoft Azure relationship is only reported in media. The same needs to be made official so that PUBG PROMOTERS can win the confidence of the Indian government
