PMGC 2022 Grand Finals
The 2022 edition of PMGC witnessed S2G Esports becoming the champions of the competition effortlessly. The separation of 32 points between the first and second spots clarifies it all. Meanwhile, PUBG Mobile Esports announced the updated roadmap for this year on the opening day of the Grand Finals. There are a few major changes that the global community should take into account.

PMGC 2023 Turkey
Here are the key changes taking place this year and also a few facts to look into.
- PUBG Mobile Esports will host the PMPL (PUBG Mobile Pro League 2023) in Riyadh. The Lan event will be offline.
- PUBG Mobile Esports will host the PMGC 2023 (PUBG Mobile Global Championship) in Turkey. The Lan event will as usual be offline from around November to December.
- We will now have a 10-point system in matches. In a match, the first-positioned side will earn 10 points while the runners-up have to settle with 6 points.
The point distribution of the same is mentioned below.
- first place – 10 points
- Second Place – 6 points
- Third Place – 5 points
- Fourth Place – 4 points
- fifth Place – 3 points
- Sixth Place – 2 points
- Seventh Place – 1 point
- Eighth Place – 1 point
- 9-15th Place – 0 Points
As mentioned earlier, there are notable changes in terms of expanding the sections of PUBG Mobile Esports. PMPL MY/SG/PH will now be termed as PMPL Malaysia, and PMPL SEA Wild Card (PH/KH/MM/SG). The latter will feature the territories of the Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Singapore, which are also being introduced by PUBG MOBILE. So, with eSports making its rapid growth, things are likely to go a notch higher as well. However, it will be interesting to see how things pan out in the coming months and years.
