Garena FF Banned in India: The game had suffered a huge setback in mid-February when the government of India has banned the game citing security threats.

Despite the ban, the game has already broken a few records in terms of downloads.

Garena Free Fire No.1: According to the Sensor Tower report, Garena Free Fire remained at the top in February 2022 with 21.8 million downloads.

The number of downloads surprisingly increased 22.7 percent over last year.

Moreover, 40% of downloads have come from India which is followed by Brazil with almost 10%.

Despite the ban, the popularity of this game made sure that it remains at the top.

Most Downloaded Mobile Games February 2022

  • Garena Free Fire No. 1 in Downloads.
  • Subway Surfers from Sybo Games was the second most installed mobile game. It had 19.5 million installs, which represented a 45.3 per cent increase from February 2021.
  • The countries with the largest number of Subway Surfers installs were India at 18.8 per cent, followed by Brazil at approximately 7.8 per cent.
  • Merge Master, also known as Merge & Fight, from Homa Games, Candy Crush Saga from King, and Roblox from Roblox Corporation rounded out the top five most installed mobile games worldwide for the month.

The global mobile games market generated 4.4 billion downloads across the App Store and Google Play in February 2022, marking an increase of 0.7 per cent year-over-year.

Meanwhile, there are so many games that have made their names in recent months. Games like Subway Surfers, Merge Master, Candy Crush Saga, Roblox, PUBG Mobile have shown immense progress in terms of downloads. So, let’s check out the top 10 list.
