Mizkif admits Twitch fame is no longer appealing: “I want that time [offline]”- Mizkif spoke candidly about his struggles as a Twitch streamer and admitted that fame has lost its appeal. Taking a break from his busy schedule and constant stress were taking a toll on him, leading him to need more time offline in order to find balance.

The popularity of Mizkif has increased over the last couple of years. While acknowledging it had tainted him, he explained that his time off enabled him to escape the daily stress and “substantial” hate he received online.

“These days, I actually like spending more time offline than online,” said Miz. The reason I need that time is that I have had enough attention and fame. I no longer need or crave it as much as I did before.”

The reason for his decision isn’t that he’s achieved his goal of being one of the most popular streamers on Twitch. Instead, he believes that being in the spotlight all the time is “not as great” as people think.

Mizkif admits Twitch fame is no longer appealing: “I want that time [offline]”“I certainly get my fair share of hate from my fan base, and the amount of stress that comes with it is quite substantial. I know a lot of you don’t realize that, but I do get a fair share of hate. “Streaming isn’t a job, it is a lifestyle. I don’t take time off. This has never been an issue for me. Every second, something in the streaming world happens, so I’ve been there for three and a half years now.

He added that it was even more difficult since some of the biggest competitors were also his friends. “Navigating that friendship when you compete with them is exceedingly challenging.”

In Miz’s opinion, being a successful streamer isn’t worth the fame alone. Even so, he admitted the money it brings is nice – just not at the expense of his mental health.

“In this business, nothing is worth your mental health. If you lose that, if you go insane, there’s nobody fixing you. As long as you’re mentally healthy, you’re capable of doing anything.”
