miHoYo is going to add more regions in Genshin Impact over the next four years

miHoYo rolled out the latest update version 2.0 of Genshin Impact on July 21, 2021. The Genshin Impact version 2.0 introduced a whole new region known as Inazuma with three new playable characters Sayu, Ayaka and Yoimiya. The update also offered players a lot of new artifacts, weapons, a new gardening system and much more. Genshin Impact generally gets an update around every six weeks, which offers players with new challenges and also keeps the open-world diverse for players to explore new features. miHoYo 2021 GDC – Genshin Impact all continents

The 2021 Game Developers Conference (GDC) was held in the Moscone Center, California from 19 July till 23 July and a lot of game developers and publishers around the world gathered under one roof to discuss all about the gaming world. miHoYo was no exception in this list and they shared a lot of information about the future development process for Genshin Impact. miHoYo revealed that over the course of the next four years they would likely include the remaining continents of Genshin Impact.

In 2021 GDC, the Producer & CEO of miHoYo, Haoyu Cai stated that there are a total of seven continents that were conceptualized during the early stages of development and from them, three continents namely Liyue, Mondstadt and newly added Inazuma are currently available for players to explore in Genshin Impact. The remaining four continents that are Natlan, Fontaine, Snezhnaya and Sumeru are still to come in Genshin Impact as major updates over the next four years.

The Genshin Impact Community is extremely excited to know that miHoYo is already planning about the long term updates of the game and how players will get to explore all the new continents and experience the extended storyline of Genshin Impact. Genshin Impact is already one of the biggest free-to-play open world games available and miHoYo is stopping no time soon.
