KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator selects two promising startups

KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator selected Two game developers startups from over two hundred applications across India.

KRAFTON India, a gaming giant, has chosen its first KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator (KIGI) cohort. Launched in October 2023, KIGI mentors aspiring game developers for 6-12 months and offers grants up to $150,000. The inaugural group is diverse, with talented individuals and teams. KIGI aims to refine their skills and empower them to create innovative games that will diversify India’s gaming scene.

Krafton India Gaming Incubator

After a long selection process Krafton India Gaming Incubator picked two promising startups: ReDimmension Games (Nagaland) and Shura Games (Bangalore). ReDimmension’s “Sojourn Past” is an action-adventure PC and console game with a 2024 release target. Shura’s mobile game “Spice Secrets” combines culinary adventures with puzzles.

  • ReDimension Games, led by CEO, Pekrukhrietuo Pienyu, is developing “Sojourn Past,” a compelling action-adventure game set for a 2024 release on Windows and consoles. Based in Kohima, Nagaland, the team’s game promises an engaging mix of action, exploration, and narrative depth, in a game world filled with beautiful pixel art and emotive music.
  • Shura Games, headquartered in Bangalore and spearheaded by its CEO, Shubham Bengale, introduces “Spice Secrets,” a mobile game that blends culinary adventures with puzzle challenges, aiming to captivate a broad audience.

KIGI offers personalized development for each startup, including mentorship from industry experts across various aspects of game creation and business. Regular workshops, feedback sessions, and technical support will ensure their growth. KIGI also plans post-incubation support to help these startups become mainstays in India’s gaming industry.
