GTA Trilogy Remastered removes controversial logo from Vice City
Fans all around the world have dug into the official trailer of the GTA Trilogy Remastered in order to find out the finest changes and makeovers Rockstar Games have revealed until now. Recent revelations of the reddit user Chazza354 showed that Rockstar Games have changed the Confederate flag logo t-shirt of Vice City’s Phil Cassidy and replaced it with a skull logo.
Phil Cassidy's shirt has been altered to remove the confederate flag – in a trilogy that laughs in the face of political correctness, what else have they altered to please a modern audience? Radio ads/discussions? Character dialogue ? Objectives?

In case you don’t know, the confederate flag has always been a controversial symbol in America as it represents the confederate states of the country and is intrinsically linked with white supremacy. Though most of the fans liked this change in the game, some are still unsatisfied with the concept. Some say that the character Phil Cassidy was portrayed as dumb and the flag suits him much.

Even though this minor change doesn’t affect the game in any way, it would be really interesting to see what more tweaks and touches Rockstar games have made in the GTA Trilogy Remastered. Other than gameplay, they have also increased the open-world draw distance and texture resolutions. Players can get their hands on the game after it launches on November 11, 2021. The game will be available on most of the current platforms which includes PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
