GTA 6- GTA 6 community reactions: GTA 6 is slated to release in late 2024 or early 2025. However, the hype around the title in humongous and players cannot wait for more information regarding the series. The most important intel that has come out suggests GTA 6 will take a different approach than its predecessor. While it might seem like a turning point for the title, it might also be the reason why the community chooses to reject it. Industry insider Tom Henderson has provided his two cents on the Grand Theft Auto topic as well. For future updates on GTA 6, Follow InsideSport on GOOGLE NEWS.
For those unaware, GTA V came out in 2013 and it was the last GTA title that players got to experience over these years. The title has evolved a lot and even after nine years in the business, GTA 5 RP is one of the most streamed content on YouTube and Twitch. Therefore, the hype around GTA 6 is also tremendous. Fans of the franchise are expecting things to take a grand turn once it is released.
Tom Henderson believes cancel culture will play a massive role in the success of GTA 6
Apart from fans of the GTA franchise, it might not be known that this series is filled with adult content. From profanity to drugs, violence of the extreme level and even sexual content is imbibed in these titles. Through the bare portrayal of the streets of U.S.A, Rockstar Games has managed to gather a huge crowd that loves the dirt and grit of the streets.
Back in 2013, this appealed to a ton of people which is why the series is creating such a hype even today. However, post 2020, the understanding of certain topics has changed. Cancel culture has set in deeply and this might affect GTA 6 if it continues to run its previous algorithm.
No matter how GTA 6 releases in terms of map, characters, story, what there is to do etc. I can't help but think that the gaming community will hate on it.
It's probably going to be the biggest selling game of all time, but I'm intrigued to see the communities reaction.

Tom Henderson believes, Rockstar Games have a task on their hand to retain the essence of the series while making it appropriate for the masses in a post 2020 society.
I'm on the fence about how I feel about GTA's future. I love the humor/satire, but I also know that times have changed and some stuff isn't appropriate "these days". Rockstar has a huge balancing act to figure out IMO. But I think no matter what they do, it won't be enough tbh.

However, it might also be too early to judge the game or Rockstar devs for that matter. However, content on racism, objectification of women and violence need to be dealt with in an appropriate manner. Until leaks surface, fans will have to wait patiently for more than a year to know what GTA 6 will be like on release.
