Genshin Impact Version 2.0 releases Thunder Sojourn: miHoYo released the Genshin Impact version 2.0 update on July 21, 2021 and players are all excited to explore the new Inazuma region. To get access to the Inazuma region, players need to achieve Adventure Rank 30 and complete the Archon quests, ’Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves’. Thunder Sojourn is the first event of the Genshin Impact version 2.0 update and it will be entirely based on the Inazuma region. The minimum prerequisites to join the event is the same as getting full access to the Inazuma region that includes completing various Archon Quest ’Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves’ and ‘Ritou Escape Plan’. Thunder Sojourn will be starting from July 22, 2021 and will end on August 09, 2021.

Genshin Impact Version 2.0 releases Thunder Sojourn: The Thunder Sojourn event will be divided into 4 parts of different objectives and challenges. It focuses on the Chief Technical Officer of the Inazuman Alcor, Muzhen, who needs the help of experienced travelers to search an important target. Here are the four acts of the event described below:

Act 1: Bolt Blitz

This act will be covering 2 days of the event, starting from July 22, 2021. Players have to complete a total of six challenges and three new challenges unlocking each day in order to gain rewards like Mora, Thunder Pellets and Primogems. If travelers get their hands on Electrogranum then they can travel faster towards the thunder spheres and accelerate.

Act 2: Lightning Round

This act will start from July 24, 2021 and players need to unleash thunder shocks in order to defeat all the enemies within the designated time frame. Players will get Mora, Primogems and Thunder Pellets as rewards.

Act 3: Weaving Lighting

This act will be available from July 27, 2021 and to unlock this act, players need to complete the quest, ‘Crossing Storm Clouds’. This act is similar to the previous one, where players need to defeat all their enemies within the designated time, but this time around, players will be using a new technique called Nimbus Gems. This feature enables players to get different buffs depending on who is affected by Electro.

Act 4: Automaton Front

The final act of Thunder Sojourn will start on July 30, 2021. In this act players will have to defeat a new boss enemy known as the Perpetual Mechanical Array. Players can use previous abilities like the Nimbus Gems and Thunder Dwellings whenever the Perpetual Mechanical Array divides itself. Completing this challenge will earn players a lot of Thunder Crystals which could later be redeemed in the Event Shop.
