Garena Free Fire becomes the highest watched Mobile Game for Q3 2021: Garena Free Fire is growing so fast all over the world. The game has surpassed the 80 million concurrent users last year. The content creation side of the Free Fire is also creating new records daily. A report published by Stream Hatchet reveals that Garena Free Fire becomes the highest watched Mobile game for Q3 2021. Let’s take a look at the detailed report:

After falling to second place last quarter, Just Chatting is back as the most-watched streaming category of Q3 2021. Streamers continue to use the category both before and after the main content of their streams to engage with audiences leading to high viewership. However, many creators have excelled with Just Chatting as their primary content. Mobile gaming has also shown a huge impact in this quarter where 3 titles are there in the top 10 list.

Following an impressive Q2, live streaming viewership has dipped slightly this past quarter. However, hours watched are still well above what they were in 2020. Of the top ten categories, three are mobile titles that amassed a combined 812 million hours watched in Q3 2021. Mobile gaming is still growing, which may lead to higher rankings for mobile titles in the future. One of the biggest trends in Q3 was the resurgence of Apex Legends. This game went from not making the top ten last quarter to being the most watched non-mobile battle royale with 270 million hours watched. Many top streamers made the switch to Apex Legends for a while, leading to this dramatic jump in viewership.
