The ongoing version of the title, OB39 rolled out on 22 March 2023. Hence, we can expect the next to be released around the last week of May or the first week of June.

OB40 Update Expected Release Date
Meanwhile, Garena will also introduce a dedicated client server i.e Advance like they always do before releasing the patch. The client-server mainly arrives two weeks before the release. So, we can expect it to arrive around the initial weeks of May. Gamers must also remember that these mentioned dates and timings are calculated after having a look at the previous versions. Hence, the actual release date might differ.
Going forward, users will have a shorter maintenance break, which usually takes place on the day of release.
