Xbox recently announced the upcoming Forza Horizon 5 and they are determined to take the game to the next-level. The Forza series is divided into two parts, the Forza Motorsport series and the Forza Horizon series. While the Forza Motorsport focuses on the legal track bound races, the Forza Horizon series lets players roam and race around in a diverse open-world. Forza Horizon 5 will offer players a breathtaking expedition across the massively diverse and ever-evolving landscape of Mexico.

Xbox claims that Forza Horizon 5 will feature the most diverse and the largest open-world map of the whole Forza series. The whole scenario has been captured in 12K in real life, and then has been processed to create an ultra-realistic open-world view rendered in unparalleled detail. Mike Brown revealed the entire map of the game for the first time, which is almost 50% larger than the previous title, Forza Horizon 4. Mike Brown on Xbox Wire said,” We knew from the beginning that we wanted this to be the biggest Forza Horizon yet. If we wanted to be the biggest, then we felt we also needed to offer the most diversity and contrast as well”.

This massive map will also feature the longest highway stretch in the whole Forza Horizon series. The map includes all the 11 biomes of Mexico, which includes the swamps, farmlands, desert, jungle, a rocky coast, tropical coast, arid hills, a volcano and the gorgeous city of Guanajuato.

Along with the full map reveal, Xbox also revealed a brand new car, the 2020 Toyota Supra GR in Forza Horizon 5. Mike Brown gave an overview about the highly detailed modifications that players can do in their cars. The game will also come with a new gameplay called EventLab, where players will be able to build their own custom races and stunts. Forza Horizon 5 will only be available on PCs and next-gen consoles and will be released on November 09, 2021.
