The God of Thunder was revealed as a Fortnite skin back in Chapter 2 Season 4. The Battle Pass consisted of the Thor outfit as well as several other MCU characters. Since it was a Battle Pass outfit, it didn’t make any return to the game. However, if the theory is correct then gamers will get a Fortnite x Thor skin that will be available in the Item Shop and can return frequently.

Fortnite x Thor: Donald Mustard post raises speculation

Data miner Shiina reported the Fortnite x Thor theory to the public. Donald Mustard, the CCO of Epic Games posted a particular fireworks image through his social media handle. It might seem like a normal image.
However, on close observation, it can be stated that the color composition and gradation, as well as the structure of clouds, bear a close resemblance to the poster of Thor Love and Thunder movie.
The data miner has not leaked any in-game files. However, the theory that Shiina has built up cannot be waived off easily. Donald Mustard has the reputation of teasing upcoming collaborations with random images.

The theory regarding the Fortnite x Thor collaboration in Chapter 3 Season 3 seems a bit far stretched. However, considering how Donald Mustard has been providing teaser posts in the past, it is quite convincing.

Popular Fortnite concept artist, D3NNI, however, pointed out it could be a July 4th reference. Although the explanation is valid, Shiina pointed out that Donald Mustard’s Instagram posts were directly or indirectly related to upcoming items in the game. Therefore, the recent fireworks image is mostly a teaser for the Fortnite x Thor collaboration in Chapter 3 Season 3.
