“This eventually changed the more we played with one another, ” says Chloettw, Female Valorant Player, Team Orangutan – Chloe “Chloettw” Wong Ting Ting is a Singaporean female Valorant gamer who plays for Team Orangutan. Here are the excerpts from the interview.

Q.1 – As a professional Valorant player for nearly two years, how was the journey from NGX to Orangutan?

At first, it was hard to adapt to the new environment as it was my first time playing full-time as compared to NGX, it was only part-time but gradually I got used to it.

Q.2 – With Gekko’s (new agent) addition, how is it crucial to the future of Valorant as a game?

I think teams in general have to adapt to changes and create meta as new agents are being added to Valorant regularly.

Q.3 – Duelist or Initiator? The role do you think you can play better to support your team? Irrespective of your current role… What do you feel?

Initiator. Hence, I can just set up utilities and go as 2nd entry fragger haha!

Q.4 – Do weird/surprising team compositions by your opponents change your plans during the game?

We are not affected by what the opponents pick, we just go through with our usual game plan and execute it normally.

Q.5 – Does collaborating with players from diverse countries impact team synergy?

Honestly, at the start, it was hard due to the language barrier as most of them didn’t use English as their first language. This eventually changed the more we played with one another, surprisingly I even understand some Tagalog now.

Q.6 – Are there any players who you look up to or aspire to be?

I look up to Deryeon from  BLEED esports as I have been watching him since his debut into the pro scene and his growth has been amazing. But one day, I will surpass him.
