BGIS The Grind is the official scrimmage session for the invited teams before BGIS kicks off. and reports suggest that BGIS the Grind is scheduled to start around July 20, 2023.
BGIS 2023 The Grind Invites
Based on past official events, teams are getting invited to the BGIS 2023 Grind. Some Tier 1 teams are already known, like Team Soul, Godlike, OR Esports, and more. This time, underdog teams from BGIS Season 1 are also getting invites, as are the teams that performed well in the inaugural season of BGIS 2021 rounds 2, 3, and 4.
How to Check If a Team Gets Invited
The team performed well in the inaugural season of BGIS 2021 and reached rounds 2, 3, and 4. The team member for whom they registered for BGIS 2021 can check their registered email. Check for the mail in spam or inbox. Players need to remember that only registered emails get the invitation if they are invited to The Grind.
BGIS 2021 The Grind
The event is played over a 13 days period and includes 32 invited teams that are divided into four groups: A, B, C, and D. Eight teams per group battle it out for the prize pool of 200,000 INR.
The top 16 teams from the 32 invited teams for the event qualify for the finals of BGIS The Grind. The finals are a two-day event that was won by Team XO, with Team TSM being runners-up for the event and Godlike Esports getting the third spot. Savitar from Team Forever gets the MVP title of the BGIS 2021 Grind.
