PUBG Mobile, a popular battle royale game, has announced the Wonder Creators Network, a $100 million investment plan to boost and reward the game’s dedicated player community. This programme will develop an effective co-creation environment within the game over the next three years. The significant funds will be invested in a variety of programmes, including competitions, exclusive opportunities, and exciting rewards, showcasing PUBG Mobile’s strong dedication to its creators and the creative content they offer to the game.
PUBG Mobile hopes that by introducing the Wonder Creators Network and contributing a lot of funds, it will not only improve the gaming experience for its users but also recognise and celebrate the huge creative potential inside its community. This project is poised to usher in a new era of collaboration and creation, bringing great opportunities for both seasoned and aspiring PUBG Mobile designers.
PUBG Mobile is focusing on its creator ecosystem through initiatives like the Ptopia Design Project (PDP) and the newly launched World of Wonder (WOW) mode. This mode lets players craft their own maps and modes.
In 2023, creators in competitions like World of Wonder and the Ptopia Design Project will vie for a total prize pool of $750,000. In 2024, an even bigger incentive plan worth ‘tens of millions of dollars’ is on the horizon.
In World of Wonder mode, every update cycle will introduce at least one themed contest with a prize pool of $50,000, in addition to various in-game rewards.
The Tournament of Wonder, part of the Version 2.8 Update, is a new in-game creator event. Creators can design themed maps, and players will vote for their favorites. The top creators can win cash prizes up to $1000, with the top 200 sharing a cash prize pool of $50,000. Additionally, the top 5000 creators will divide Crate Coupons worth over $10,000.
