PUBG Mobile India: PUBG Mobile is regarded as one of the most popular Battle Royale titles in the world. However, things did not go well for the title India as the Government of India, commonly known as GOI blocked the title from all the virtual stores back in the month of September in 2020. The parent company of the title later introduced Battlegrounds Mobile India in August 2021 but similar things occurred (blocked due to Data Migration to Chinese Servers). The Government of India (GOI) banned PUBG Mobile in September 2020, along with more than a hundred other Chinese apps. One of the biggest reasons behind the ban of PUBG Mobile in India was concerns regarding the data privacy of gamers. The Indian government took the approach due to the rising tensions at Galwan Valley during that time.

The developers later went on to introduce Battlegrounds Mobile India but it was also blocked, completing a year after its inception. However, the community seems to wonder whether they are eligible to play PUBG Mobile or not. So, the answer is a clear NO. It’s not allowed to play in India. The title is permanently banned in India. Looking at the current scenarios of the title, it is highly unlikely that we even can see it returning in this month.
