The Government of India banned PUBG Mobile on the 2nd of September 2020, along with more than a hundred other Chinese apps. One of the biggest reasons behind the ban of PUBG Mobile in India was concerns regarding the data privacy of gamers. The Indian government took the approach due to the rising tensions at Galwan Valley.
Eventually, the developers later introduced Battlegrounds Mobile India but it was also ousted, completing a year after its inception. However, the community seems to wonder whether they could play PUBG Mobile or not. So, the answer is a clear no. It’s not allowed to play in India. Looking at the current scenarios of the title, it is highly unlikely that we even can see it returning in the future.
