Olympic Esports Series 2023: Ubisoft has announced the eight players who will compete in the Just Dance Olympic Esports Series 2023. The competition, which is organized in partnership with the World DanceSport Federation, will take place in Singapore from June 22 to 25. The eight players are:
- Amandine “TheFairyDina” Morisset (France)
- Diego “Diegho San” Dos Santos Silva (Brazil)
- Aleksanteri “TheAllu” Landström (Finland)
- Antonino “JustNino” Pomilia (Italy)
- Joseph “Aazzlano” Cordero (United States)
- Adithiyan “Arms73” Armstrong (India)
- Elsie Fang (People’s Republic of China)
- Siti Zhywee Ramle (Singapore)
The players were selected from a pool of competitors who participated in previous Just Dance World Cup finals, local competitions, and talent from Singapore. They will compete for the chance to become the first Olympic Esports Series champion.
The event is a global virtual and simulated sports competition created by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and in collaboration with International Federations (IFs) and game publishers. For the first time, the Olympic Esports Series 2023 will build up to live, in-person finals.
The finals will take place at Singapore’s Suntec Centre from June 22 to 25 and will be a highlight of the Olympic Esports Week 2023. The week will also feature a number of other esports events, including the Dota 2 International 11 and the FIFAe World Cup 2023.
