PUBG Mobile has revealed two invited teams for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2023. Despite the hopeful anticipation of Indian teams, India did not receive an invitation this time around for participation. No Indian Team at PMGC 2023
Fans were eagerly anticipating the participation of Indian teams, especially considering India’s past participation through the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series, where Godlike Esports competed in the PMGC 2021. However, this time around, despite the hopes, India did not receive an invitation for PMGC 2023.
PMGC 2023 Format
League Stage:
- Duration: November 2nd – 26th, 2023
- 48 teams in 3 groups of 16.
- Each group plays for a week, with 4 matchdays per week.
- 6 matches per matchday, totaling 24 matches per week.
- Top 3 teams from each group advance to Grand Finals.
- Teams ranked 4th – 11th from each group move to Survival Stage.
- Bottom 5 teams from each group are eliminated.
Survival Stage:
- Duration: November 22nd – 24th, 2023
- 24 teams in 3 groups of 8.
- Round-Robin format with 6 matches per day, totaling 18 matches over 3 days.
- Top 16 teams advance to Last Chance.
- Bottom 8 teams are eliminated.
Last Chance:
- Duration: November 25th – 26th, 2023
- 16 teams play 12 matches.
- Top 5 teams advance to Grand Finals.
- Bottom 11 teams are eliminated.
Grand Finals:
- Date: December 8th – 10th, 2023
- Venue: Istanbul, Türkiye
- 16 teams, including 14 from League Stage and 2 direct invitations.
- Total of 18 matches in this stage.
The PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2023 will take place live on October 11th! 50 teams will participate in the show-stopping tournament, the main event of the PUBG Mobile Esports calendar. Squads from every corner of the world will fight for their survival to earn their share of the $3 million prize pool and the title of PUBG Mobile World Champion.
