Pokemon Go x Pokemon TCG Collaboration: Pokemon Go-themed cards will be available soon for purchase- In a recent announcement, Niantic revealed the details about the collaboration between Pokemon Go and Pokemon TCG. The collaboration will bring the Pokemon Go-themed cards. Trainers will be able to purchase the Pokemon TCG x Pokemon GO expansion soon, featuring Pokemon GO-themed cards! As part of the collaboration, Niantic is also celebrating the Crossover Event! In this event, trainers will witness the debut of Pikachu wearing a Pokemon TCG hat. Mewtwo that knows Shadow Ball or Psystrike may also appear in Raid Battles. And if you are lucky, you might encounter Shiny Meltan—and that’s not all!

Pokemon TCG Crossover Event – The crossover event will start on June 16, 2022, at 10:00 local time. In the crossover event, Pikachu wearing a Pokémon TCG hat, Wimpod, and Golisopod make their Pokémon GO debut! The event will end on June 30, 2022, at 20:00 local time. Trainers can use 400 Wimpod Candy which will help them to evolve Wimpod into Golisopod.
Collection Challenges
Niantic is set to introduce brand new Collection Challenges which is themed around Pokemon. There will be six challenges where the difficulty of the challenges can vary. Complete all challenges to receive amazing rewards including XP and Incubator. Trainers will also be able to encounter Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, and Meltan!
That’s not all! Trainers can keep the collecting going as there will be three more Collection Challenges available in the game.
