Online Gaming in India: The first-ever official meeting by a Central ministry has concluded. Few stakeholders of the Indian online gaming industry attended the meeting. Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Union Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, Skill Development, Electronics & Technology had two hours long brainstorming session. More than 25 stakeholders from the Indian gaming industry attended the meeting, the first time a Central agency has taken the step to make operators fall in line. Participants who attended the conference said to the media that minister Chandrasekhar was very”patient” and “business-like”.

Roland Landers, CEO of AIGF, said

Very positive interaction with the #onlineskillgamingindustry impressed with the subject knowledge and clarity of thought in steering the discussion to the key challenges and way forward AIGF and all our stakeholders thank you.”

The meeting has been concluded successfully. In recent months, we have seen a huge development from the government and a positive change in attitude towards the video gaming industry.
