Krafton, developer of the popular battle royale game Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) today dropped the podcast of the highly anticipated BGMI 2.8 Update with the BGMI pro’s where they gave full details of the upcoming update.
BGMI 2.8 Update Podcast
The podcast featured the popular personalities in the BGMI community Ghatak, Mamba, Snax, and Lolzz. The lively and enlightening podcast delved into the highly anticipated zombie themed Edge mode. It was unveiled that this thrilling mode is set to be integrated into the expansive Miramar map. Aerolith Lab of zombie themed Edge mode – players get to see a giant zombie boss. If players eliminate the zombie boss, they’ll get a good amount of loot in reward, including the two new powers that players can use to climb apartments and dash in the air. Of course, there are enemies too, so be careful when you go into Aerolith Lab.
Types of Zombies
- Berserker Zombies: It is difficult to eliminate the Berserker zombies, but there is a chance to beat them when they are in shield mode. Players can hit the red spot on the zombies when they are in shield mode to eliminate Berserker zombies.
- Mutant Creeper: The zombie has the ability to hit by jumping, so it’s difficult to eliminate the zombie, but there is a weak spot when the zombie jumps and stands in one position. Shoot on his head to eliminate the Mutant Creeper zombie.
Themed Items
- Mutation Gauntlets
- Defeat zombies for a chance to get mutated weaponry. These items will also spawn in the Aerolith Lab.
- Equip the Mutation Gauntlets to grow massive arms for powerful melee attacks. The arms deliver devastating damage and cause greater stun to monsters.
- While equipped, players can perform a Great Smash by charging up, leaping into the air, choosing a landing point in mid-air, and swiftly descending upon the selected spot to deal substantial area damage. At the same time, it can also create a bone wall to be used as cover when battling enemies.
- Mutation Blade
- Defeat zombies for a chance to get mutated weaponry. These items will also spawn in the Aerolith Lab.
- Equip the Mutation Blade to grow a powerful arm blade for wide-range slashing melee attacks. These slashes deal substantial damage and cause greater stun to monsters.
- While equipped, players can perform a Wild Dash by charging in the direction of the crosshair and inflicting a certain amount of damage to enemies along the way. It can be used to move around quickly.
- Maglev Hoverboard
- Maglev Hoverboards will spawn in the Aerolith Lab as an item. After picking it up, it can be used via the quick item menu or from inside your Backpack. Use it to move around on a Maglev Hoverboard.
- It has undergone significant enhancements in its power and structure, so it can travel on both land and water to quickly traverse the map. Additionally, it can perform impressive maneuvers while in the air.
BGMI A2 Royale Pass
The BGMI A2 Royal Pass will be more interesting than the previous one. Players will get the upgradable UMP45 skin for free in the Royale Pass, so players don’t need to worry about the upgradable items, and a 100-RP outfit will be a consumable suit.
