Mohammed Lakhani, aka Owais, one of the veteran players in the Indian gaming community, has joined the team Gods Reign ahead of the highly anticipated BGMI India – Korea Invitational scheduled to start on October 26, 2023.
On October 24, Owais left Enigma Gaming, and in a few hours, Gods Reign signed him. Owais spent almost two years at Enigma Gaming. Recently, Daljit and Maxkash also left Enigma Gaming. Owais is a true legend in Indian gaming. he started his journey in 2018, where he played from Team Soul during that time, clinching victories in prestigious events like PUBG Mobile India Series 2019, PUBG Mobile Club Open Spring Split: India, PUBG Mobile All Stars India 2019, and more.
Gods Reign signs Owais
With Owais’s addition to the Gods Reign Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) lineup, it now consists of 5 players, including AquaNox, Blaze, NinjaJOD, Robin, and Owais. Recently, the team has performed well under the leadership of Robin in the BGIS 2023, where teams finish in the 5th position. However, now it will be interesting to see who Owais replaces on the roster. Owais is also in the IGL, so there is a high chance that he will replace Robin in the team.

This celebration of Esports is taking place from the 26th to 28th October 2023 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Eight top-tier Esports teams from India will play against the top-rated esports teams from Korea, in BGMI India-Korea Invitational, Road To Valor: Empires, and other key esports titles for a generous prize pool of INR 10,000,000.
This is not the first time that Owais will play with the NinjaJOD, AquaNox, and Blaze; he recently also played with the players from TSM, so keep in mind that they can surely build team synergy quickly before the BGMI India-Korea Invitational.
