Que 1: Can you tell us about your journey into content creation and what inspired you to start a YouTube channel focused on gaming?

Ans – During lockdown, I came back to India from America, and like I said, I had a lot of free time. So I decided to start a YouTube channel focused on gaming. Because gaming was something I was constantly attached to all the years that I’ve lived in America. So that was one of the things that I loved doing. So I thought, why not start a gaming channel on YouTube? And then eventually I moved into content creation.

Que 2: How do you come up with ideas for your videos and streams?

Ans – Well, with respect to videos on my channel, it mostly depends on what I enjoy doing at the same time and what my audience loves watching. So I thoroughly go through analytics and look at what other things my audience likes to watch. Know the YouTube analytics thing. It gives a lot of information around this. So that’s where I get a lot of ideas on what my audience would like, and I filter them based on what I would enjoy doing for my audience. So, yeah.

Que 3: What is your favourite type of content to create on your channel?

Ans – The favourite type of content, I would say, is trolling. That is one of my favourite things to create. And another thing is doing pranks in public. Things like this. This gives me a lot of energy while shooting, and at the same time, my audience loves to watch it.

Que 4: Since it is unbanned, BGMI has brought a lot of new collaborations and modes to the game. Which one is your favourite?

Ans: Collaborate till date. To date, I would say the Spider-Man Universe is one of my favourites, as is the current mode, the anime theme, and all. This one is also my favourite. It’s because I missed playing the themed BGMI mode during the game ban. So when it got unbanned, it was like a fresh breath of air, and I felt really good playing the event.

Que 5. Streaming involves not only gaming skills but also effective communication and audience engagement. How do you strike a balance between these things?

Ans – I think communication and audience engagement go hand in hand. I like to constantly keep asking my audience questions, and I keep responding to whatever they’re asking or whatever they would like to say to me. I like to keep it like a one-on-one conversation. Just like how you talk to a friend. That’s how I interact with them. And I think that is a major factor that will connect you to your audience. And the more you communicate with them, the more you understand what they’re trying to say, and the more engagement it brings.

Que 6: So “Play Like Incognito” You have joined Revenant Esports as a content creator. How was the experience of joining an eSports organisation?

Ans – Well, I do not have any prior experience being a part of an eSports organization. I do have a lot of friends who are members of eSports organisations, but this is my first time, and it’s only been a few days since I’ve joined. But so far, it has been amazing. The kind of group Revenant has in the form of CC and eSports players is so amazing. During the shoot, it was so much fun interacting with all of these guys at Revenant. It made me feel more confident that I was in good hands or part of a great group. So yeah.

Que 7: Looking ahead, are there any particular games or genres you are excited to explore on your channel?

Ans –  Absolutely. When you look at my channel, it is super experimental. I do not
Stick to one specific kind of video. I like to explore different areas of entertainment within gaming or outside of gaming. Going ahead, I would like to do a lot of entertaining group videos. That is one of the major segments that I am going to explore through my journey with Revenant Esports. In terms of games, I am waiting for Valorant Mobile. I have been waiting for a while now, and yes, that is one of the games that I would truly like to explore in the future.

Que 8: How do you approach the process of selecting new games to feature in your streams?

Ans: My audience plays a major role in the process of selecting new games because they are the ones who always get back to me saying, Hey, this is a new game and people are loving it, and we absolutely love this game. I think you should play under my video comments whenever I come live on YouTube; they make sure to let me know that this is one of the games that we are enjoying a lot. And then there are other people in the chat who go with them and say, Yes, this is one of the games that you should totally play. So whatever games I select on my stream entirely depends on my regular viewers, whatever they’re enjoying, and then I play them offline. And when I feel like, oh, my God, this is fun, that’s when I take it up on my stream.

Que 9: What have been some of the biggest challenges you faced as a gaming content creator?

Ans- I think the major challenge that I’ve faced so far is, firstly, my work schedule because I have to balance my work and YouTube at the same time. That is one of my personal challenges as a gaming content creator. Secondly, I think every gaming content creator should also explore other parts of entertainment or other kinds of content you can create other than gaming as well. So since I create content on gaming as well as non-gaming-related topics, I think the challenge is that you have two different sets of audiences that’s providing engagement on your YouTube channel. Right now, it’s like I have a different set of audience on my channel for gaming and then another set of audience that enjoys watching my videos, and some of this audience may not be playing these games as well. So striking a balance between the two and deciding what kind of audience you need engagement from is a challenging factor. But hopefully, in time, I will be able to get a proper solution to this, or maybe I might be moving some content around to a different channel. Let’s see. But yeah, this is one of the biggest challenges I’ve faced.
