Garena, a Singaporean global online games developer and publisher, yesterday announced the launch of Free Fire India, available for download exclusively in India from September 5. Free Fire India incorporates unique content and features to encourage a safe, healthy, and fun gameplay experience.

Free Fire India Version size, age limit, playtime, and more
- Age Limit: Players under 16 must obtain parental or guardian consent for Free Fire India registration.
- Playtime Limits: Free Fire India will impose specific playtime restrictions for players.
- ‘Take A Break’ Reminders: The game will issue “Take A Break” reminders after a designated playtime.
- Spending Limit: Garena has set specific spending limits for in-game purchases in Free Fire India.
- Toxicity Reporting Mechanism: In-game toxicity is unacceptable, and a reporting mechanism will address instances of toxicity.
Earlier this year, Garena and Yotta entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Uttar Pradesh to drive the development of esports in India. Yesterday, Garena announced that the flagship Free Fire India Championship (FFIC) will take place later this month. Open to teams across India, the winners will earn the opportunity to represent India at the Free Fire World Series in Thailand this November.
