Garena announces Free Fire India exclusively for Indian players. Although the initial launch date was set for September 5th, Garena decided to postpone it for a few more weeks. Answering the fan’s question about the Free Fire India launch date, renowned caster “Rocky & RDX” said that the fans will get the good news in the first week of October, which indicates that the game can be launched in the first week of October.

Reason for Free Fire India Postponed

According to InsideSport sources, Garena believed that the data would have been transferred before Sep 5, and the game would launch smoothly. However, the data is extensive and takes longer, which is why the delay occurred. As soon as it is completed, the game will be launched. However, pre-registrations have already started for Free Fire India on the Google Play Store, and players can pre-register for the game to get exclusive perks. Check out the process below.

Garena also unveiled the Indian cricket icon MS Dhoni as the new brand ambassador for Free Fire India. He will be celebrated as the first Indian sportsperson to be featured in-game as a playable character, “Thala”. Dhoni will be joined by other leading sportspersons, such as football captain Sunil Chhetri, badminton champion Saina Nehwal, tennis legend Leander Paes, and Kabbadi champion Rahul Chaudhari.
