Fortnite x Nike: Calling all sneakerheads! A new Air Max-themed experience has arrived in Fortnite called Airphoria. In this sky-high celebration of sneakerhead culture, you can explore a floating city, find missing Air Max Grails, and earn the Air Max 1 ’86 Back Bling.
The Airphoria island was created by a collaboration between Beyond Creative, Nike, and Epic Games using Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN). It is available now through June 27, 2023, at 8 PM ET. You can access it via Discover or island code 2118-5342-7190.
Once you arrive on the island, you will be greeted by Airie, a sneakerhead who has thwarted Maxxed Out Max’s attempt to add missing Air Max Grails to his already maxxed-out collection. Airie needs your help to find the missing Grails and return them to their rightful owners.
As you explore the city, you will find a variety of landmarks, including Station 97, Shoebox Tower, and Museum Max. Each landmark has its own unique challenges and rewards. For example, at Station 97, you can find a secret room that contains a rare Air Max Grail.
If you play the Airphoria island for 10 minutes or more, you will receive the Air Max 1 ’86 Back Bling as part of Fortnite x Nike Collaboration. This Back Bling is a replica of the original Air Max 1, which was released in 1986. It is one of the most iconic sneakers ever made, and it is sure to turn heads in Fortnite.
In addition to the Air Max 1 ’86 Back Bling, there are a number of other Air Max-themed items available in the Fortnite Item Shop. These items include the Airie and Maxxed Out Max Outfits, the Pure Sole Boombox Back Bling, the Maxx Stacks Back Bling, the That Ice and Maxx Axe Pickaxes, the Maxx Drop Glider, and the Keep ‘Em Crispy Emote.
