FIFAe Nations Online Qualifiers 2023: knockouts
Top four teams from the Online Qualifers group stage (B) joined Japan, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and Singapore in the Quarterfinals. Each winners of the Qualifiers qualified for the playoffs. Meanwhile, the loosing teams would have chance through the 2nd Chance Semifinals. Each winners from those two Semifinals can secure their spots at Playoffs. India directly booked their spot in the playoffs with a victory over Singapore.
In the first leg of the Quarterfinals, Singapore went ahead within 4 in-game minutes and India equalized a few minutes later. However, Singapore went on to win the game by 3-2 score as Team India had all to do in the second leg. The second leg kicked off different with teams being pragmatic in the initial few minutes. However, India grew onto the game with time as they led by two goals to nil. However, the resilient Singapore came back by scoring a goal. In the 80th minute of the game, Team India scored the third goal to have a lead on the aggregate score. Eventually, the eTigers managed out the last few minutes to qualify for the Playoffs.
