eISL Playoffs: The League stage of eISL Season 2 is finally over and top six clubs have progressed through to the knockout stages. In this edition of eISL, the playoffs format is a bit different from the last season. The eISL will follow similar fixtures in which top two teams will have an advantage over the other qualifying teams. eISL Playoffs
FC Goa remained invincible, securing 28 points from 10 matches. NorthEast United finished second, earning 23 points from 10 games. Mumbai City finished just behind the runners up, securing 22 points. Bengaluru FC, Hyderabad FC, and Kerala Blasters are the three other teams who have booked their spots in the playoffs.
eISL Season 2 Format
Top two teams will have a slight advantage as they await for two teams in the semi finals. The third-placed Club will face the sixth-placed club, while fourth-placed and fifth-placed team will face each other in Knockout matchs. Winners of these knockout matches will play NorthEast United and FC Goa respectively in the Semi finals. Finally, both winners from Semi 1 & Semi 2 play for the Grand Finals.
