College Rivals wraps its first city tour in Delhi with A Bang!

College Rivals, a gaming tournament, wraps its first city tour in Delhi with A Bang. The tournament attracted students from top colleges.

The recent extravaganza ignited waves of excitement throughout the capital, uniting students from esteemed institutions such as Amity University, Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi), Delhi Technical University (DTU), Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT), and Shiv Nadar University. Together, they celebrated the spirit of unity and the grandeur of esports.

Right at the heart of this exciting event was the College Rivals gaming truck that captured students’ attention and filled them with excitement. On the campus grounds, students found themselves immersed in heart-pounding interactive games, engaging with iconic gamers and influencers, including Scout (Tanmay Singh), Ocean Sharma, and Meowkasa (Uzma Zaki), all while enjoying exhilarating musical interludes. The Red Bull Racing Simulator was a particular favorite among the youth.

College Rivals’ inspiring journey across Delhi witnessed more than 15,000+ registrations from young esports fans. The mobile gaming oasis, represented by the College Rivals truck, spans a distance that now exceeds 2,500 kilometers as it ventures into the second city Hyderabad. In Delhi, College Rivals drew a daily influx of participants, ranging from 500 to 800+ visitors per day, thus magnifying the levels of excitement and engagement in the esports realm. The esports collegiate tournament left a lasting mark, successfully engaging with millions of esports fans online with 29.5 million video views. This level of engagement truly signifies an esports revolution. Overall 15,000+ students registered for six different categories of games including Battleground Mobile India (BGMI), Counter-Strike, FIFA 2023, Road to Valor: Empires, Valorant, and Tekken7.

Concluding the online qualifier round in Delhi, the grand crescendo of the Delhi Finale, promises to bring a next-level electrifying gaming experience and took centerstage from October 1st & 3rd, 2023, with fierce competition and endless thrills for gamers.

Central to this achievement is the invaluable contributions of key partners, including the illustrious Philips, Jio Games, Glance, Nostra, and CrepDogCrew, each of whom injected their own unique flavors into the esports competition. The applause from students and the event’s monumental social media presence together underscore its rise to stardom within Delhi. College Rivals has undeniably seized the imagination of the youth and shows no signs of slowing down! The excitement continues as the esports collegiate tour advances to its next destination, Hyderabad, where it will explore top colleges and discover the best in esports, with many more cities on the horizon!
