BGIS 2023 is a Battlegrounds Mobile India official tournament where underdogs battle with top teams in BGMI. BGIS 2023 is going to be the first major event after the unban of Battlegrounds Mobile India in the country.
July 17, 2023, Krafton announces BGIS 2023 with a prize pool of 2 crores and the date of BGIS 2023 The Grind, which is scheduled to take place from July 20, 2023, with a total of 256 teams invited for the event.

BGIS 2023 Registration will go live soon. Players need to be ready with their government-proof ids for verification, their character ids, and team details.
Registration Process: Go to the website and fill out the team details, including all player’s government proof IDs like Adhar card, in-game name and character id, team name, and email address, and submit once all details are filled out successfully. However, the registration hasn’t gone online yet, but it will be very soon (1 or 2 days) once the website is updated.
There is a possibility that the format from the inaugural season will be repeated for the upcoming event. This format included the following stages:
1. In-game Qualifiers – The top 1024 teams would participate in the online qualifiers.
2. Online Qualifiers – 1024 teams
3. Quarter-Finals – 64 teams
4. Semi-Finals – 24 Teams
5. Grand Finals – Top 16 teams
Please note that this information is speculative and based on the potential repetition of the previous season’s format. Official confirmation is awaited, and any changes to the format will be announced in due course.
Underdog teams can easily participate in BGIS with this format. Players need to play classic ranked matches with their registered team members. Teams must maintain a balance of finishes and position points. Make sure your squad has a higher average of finishes and position points than the others. All games played with registered members will be counted.
Before Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2023 is taken off, the official scrimmage session is going to happen, which is BGIS 2023 The Grind, which starts on July 20th. This time all the underdog teams that qualified for the BGIS 2021 Rounds 2, 3, and 4 have got an invitation to the BGIS 2023 The Grind.
