BGIS 2023 Prizepool and The Grind Date Revealed, Check Details

Battlegrounds Mobile India announces the BGIS Season 2 prizepool and The Grind date

Battlegrounds Mobile India has announced a whopping 2 crore prize pool for the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 via a video on its official handle. BGIS is a highly anticipated tournament where underdogs compete against India’s greatest teams. This will be Krafton’s first major official event following the post-ban period.

BGIS 2023 registration will be available soon on BGMI’s official website, https://esports.battlegroundsmobileindia.com. Players can easily register their 4-5-man squad for the BGIS 2023 by visiting the website.

BGIS 2023 The Grind Date Revealed

Battlegrounds Mobile India also reveals the date of BGIS 2023 The Grind, which is set to begin on July 20, 2023. The Grind is an official scrimmage session for invited teams held before the start of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series, featuring a prize pool. All invited teams are separated into groups and compete for a prize pool. BGIS 2023 The Grind Prepared the Ground for the Big Event BGIS 2023

According to rumors, in addition to BGMI Tier 1 teams, underdog teams who performed well in the BGIS 2021 and advanced to rounds 2, 3, and 4 will invited to The Grind this season. Players who have registered for the BGIS 2021 event should check their emails to see if they have received an invite. Players should keep in mind that the invite email was only sent to registered email addresses.

While the format for the BGIS 2023 has not been officially confirmed, players can engage in speculation based on the possibility that the format from the previous edition (BGIS 2021) may be repeated this time.

The BGIS 2021 format

  • In-game Qualifiers – Top 1024 teams go to the online qualifiers.
  • Online Qualifiers – 1024 Teams
  • Quarter-Finals – 64 Teams
  • Semi-Finals – 24 teams
  • Grand Finals – 16 Teams

The inaugural season of BGIS was spectacular and thrilling, and it took India a spot in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021. Because there are three special invites available this year, India has a better chance of earning a spot in PMGC 2023, and English casters are also considering the PMGC slot for India in the ongoing PMWI 2023 tournament.
